Welcome to Seurasauna!
We will found a new public sauna in Seurasaari, Helsinki. Before enjoying the first löyly (the steam that rises from the sauna stove), many things must be done, such as listening to the wishes of the future sauna users, drawing plans and carefully considering the operating models. We want to establish a sauna in Seurasaari folk park, where living and communal sauna tradition can be experienced by as many as possible. We invite you to join us!
How can I participate?
1. Follow us
You can follow the design and later construction phases of Seurasauna on Instagram and Facebook. By spreading the word about Seurasauna, you help us reach new Seurasauna friends
2. Join the Seurasauna association
The main goal of the next few years is to establish a new communal and equal sauna, Seurasauna. We also organise sauna events and other sauna-related programme. You can become a member (€25/per year) or a supporting member by applying for membership.
3. Become a partner
We are looking for partners for the planning and implementation of Seurasauna who share our enthusiasm for furthering an equal, communal and ecologically sustainable sauna culture. Sauna is not ready yet!

4. The More Accessible Sauna Project
In this project we examine the obstacles and solutions to sauna use for people with disabilities, gender minorities and immigrants.
