Seurasauna Association

The purpose of Seurasauna Association (Seurasauna ry), as defined in its Articles of Association, is to safeguard, promote, and develop Finnish sauna culture as both tangible and intangible cultural heritage. The association supports the preservation, development, and renewal of Finnish sauna culture while remaining rooted in traditional knowledge. Its activities may also contribute to the establishment and operation of a new public sauna and to the organisation of related community-led cultural and volunteer activities.

A person who accepts the purpose of the Seurasauna association can be accepted as a full member. The main goal of the coming years is to establish a new communal and equal sauna, Seurasauna. In 2026, the membership fee is €25. A private person or a legal entity can be accepted as a supporting member.

Full members and supporting members are admitted by the board of the association upon application.
